What to expect for
Routine Cleaning

During a routine teeth cleaning, your dentist or dental hygienist will remove built-up plaque, tartar, and other debris that can lead to cavities and gum disease. They will also polish your teeth to remove any surface stains and provide you with tips on how to improve your at-home oral care routine. By attending these appointments, you can ensure that your smile stays healthy and bright for years to come. So don't put off scheduling your next teeth cleaning - your mouth will thank you!

Gum Infection Therapy / Deep Cleaning

Gum infection therapy is a dental procedure that involves deep cleaning of the teeth and gums to prevent or treat gum disease. It is also referred to as scaling and root planing. Scaling removes plaque and tartar build-up from the teeth and the gumline, while root planing smooths the tooth's root surfaces to help the gums reattach to the teeth.

Your Dentist or hygienist may recommend gum infection therapy if a patient has moderate to advanced gum disease or if they have not had regular dental cleanings in some time. Gum disease is a serious condition that can lead to tooth loss and other health problems. It is caused by bacteria that build up in the gums, which can be difficult to remove with regular brushing and flossing alone. Gum infection therapy is a comprehensive treatment that can help prevent gum disease from progressing and restore oral health.

What is
Laser Treatment

Dental laser therapy for the gums is a non-invasive treatment that uses a dental laser to treat gum disease. The dental laser can remove diseased tissue in the gums without damaging the surrounding healthy tissue. By targeting and eliminating infected tissue, bacterial colonies are destroyed, and the gums begin to heal.

Benefits of laser therapy

Dental laser therapy has several benefits, including a decrease in bleeding and swelling of the gums compared to traditional gum surgery methods. It also requires minimal recovery time, is not as invasive, and can promote faster healing. Dental laser therapy is usually used for patients with mild to severe gum disease, and it can also be used to treat conditions like gum recession, cold sores, canker sores, and excessive gum tissue.

Only my first visit and I’m already very happy that I chose Smile Vegas Dental. They really show that they care about their patients. I’ve had a debilitating fear of the dentist, and they made sure that they walked me through every step of treatment to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Everyone here knows what they are doing and they all communicate very well with each other. I have already recommended this place to friends and family here. Amazing team!

I'm going to start off with this: I hate going to the dentist. I always have. I've had some awful experiences with dentists growing up, and I always put off going. In my 39 years of life, this was the first time ever that I had a truly pleasant experience at a dentist's office. There was definitely some pain and discomfort as expected, but it was minimal and the staff was overly caring and friendly. Constantly concerned with my comfort level. I have some more work to be done, but I feel so much more at ease about it than I did before I initially walked in the doors. I will definitely be returning to this dentist, and highly recommend others to go here as well.

I was looking for a new dentist that was closer to my house and found Smile Vegas Dental through my insurance provider. I was easily able to schedule my first appointment just within a few days through the dentist’s website. I normally dread going to the dentist and get anxiety with getting my teeth cleaned and other treatments. However, my first visit was great! From the front desk to all the dental staff, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Jon took my dental x-rays and he informed me every step of the way of what he was doing, which I liked. Cassie was gentle in cleaning my sensitive teeth and gums as I didn’t feel any pain like I normally do. Dr. Najand was also very nice and after examining my teeth, he recommended what treatment plan was best for me. Overall, I had a wonderful and positive first time experience at Smile Vegas Dental and I’m happy to have found a dentist that truly cares about their patients.

Everyone was so friendly and I was amazed how thorough they were. I've never experienced this before with a dentist. They weren't rushed and made me feel important. A special thank you to Kathy. She was wonderful and took the time to explain every detail with me. All the dentists and technicians were great. I will recommend this facility to everyone.

Brand new patient here, I had just finished my orthodontic treatment and heard about this dental office through a friend. I came in for a cleaning and whitening and the whole experience was phenomenal. The staff are all super friendly and the dental work that was done was top notch. I'm extremely happy with my smile and would definitely recommend this office to everyone. Dunia was the dental hygienist that took care of me during my visit and she was fantastic!
